Embellishment has become increasingly more prevalent in the league, as referees have seemingly buried their whistles in their pockets when it comes to seeing players dive.
The trend continued in a new way when Hawks goaltender Alex Stalock flailed to the ice, in an attempt to draw a penalty and the play looks comical, to say the least.
To make matters worse, Stalock actually drew a penalty on the play. I'm not sure officiating can go down from here, but it does continue to amaze and astonish with each blown call.
