But for those that have not heard of either, Shoresy is a fantastic, hilarious, and admittedly vulgar short series about a fictional hockey legend playing men's senior hockey in Sudbury, Canada. If you are a fan of Letterkenny or hockey in general (and okay with a some foul language) then Shoresy should be a must binge.
Staring Jared Keeso as Shoresy, who also created and wrote Shoresy as well Letterkenny, the infamous senior hockey legend described as the dirtiest hockey player of all time. Taking his "talents" to Sudbury and vowing to "never lose again", he assembles his rag tag bunch of senior hockey legends played by some former NHL players in former 8th overall pick Terry Ryan, 2x Stanley Cup champ Jordan Nolan, and legendary enforcer Jon "Nasty" Mirasty. The show also features cameos from sports media personalities such as Jay Onrait of TSN, and Rear Admiral or "RA" from the Spitting Chiclets Podcast.
Within season 1 coming in at only six episodes it is an easy binge leaving viewers wanting more from the ever hilarious Shoresy. For viewers here in the US Shoresy can be found for streaming on Hulu, while in Canada on Crave. And if you are one of the viewers left wanting more, while a renewal for season 2 has not been announced at this time, Shoresy does have cameos in Letterkenny (Keeso's other show) which is the same type of humor about a small town in Canada also found on Hulu and Crave. Now if you have not been sold into giving it a chance yet here's a clip from Shoresy's first episode, Enjoy!
