A Montreal Canadien got some very high praise in, a recent interview. The 23 year-old is slowly becoming a NHL star and that number one center the Canadiens so desperately need.
Infact according to former NHL head coach Bob Hartley Suzuki has some comparables to some of the best players in the NHL.
Bob Hartley was on BPM Sports Friday for his regular column on Martin Lemay's show.
According to Hartley, Nick Suzuki should be the next captain of the Montreal Canadiens. Hartley says the other player who could get the job is Joel Edmundson.
Hartley made a statement that surprised many people when he talked about Suzuki's poise, which really triggered fans of the Penguins and Blackhawks..
"For poise, Suzuki is in the same league as Crosby and Toews."

Blackhawks fans are NOT happy about this, and they feel it's disrespectful towards their captain, Toews.
The Canadiens acquired Suzuki along with Tomas Tatar and a 2nd round pick for the Canadiens former captain Max Pacoritty.
