We're still about three weeks away from the start of NHL training camps but the KHL season is set to begin.
KHL Fans witnessed a very scary scene during a game today between SKA-Neva and Dynamo when Kirill Tankov a prospect of the Pittsburgh Penguins was hit hard to into the boards by Dynamo's Artyom Maltsev.
Tankov had to be carried off the ice by the medical staff Infront of a stunned crowd. As for Maltsev he was booted from the game and will likely be suspended and or fined by the KHL.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are definitely concerned as Tankov was drafted by the Penguins in the 7th round 218th overall in the 2021 NHL draft.
