One of the most bluntcoaches in the NHL is John Tortorella, and although being honest may be important, it can also lead to amusing situations.
Tortorella has said some amusing things throughout his upwards of 20 years as a coach in the NHL, as well as some very direct and unkind things about his own players. Tortorella was questioned by the NHL TNT panel prior to last night's game in an effort to end the Flyers' nine-game losing run.
When asked how he thinks about young players around the league by former NHL player and now podcast hostPaul Bissonette, who was recently introduced on the TNT broadcast, John Tortorella responded exactly as you'd expect!
That is quite funny Torts, but his entire roster is all young right now due to injuries, nearly 90% of his players are below the age of 23, way to call your team out!
''Really, it's a young dumb league. There are so many more mistakes made in our game today.''
