Kubalik Ends a Nine-game Goal Drought After Being Healthy Scratched
The 26 year old Czech Republic forward made a huge impact on the Chicago Blackhawks when he entered the league three seasons ago.
Kubalik posted up a impressive 30 goals-16 assist as a 23 year old and became a fan favourite in the Blackhawks organization. The following season after, his point total got lower and did not stand out on the Blackhawks.
This year Kubalik is having his worst season in the NHL, struggling with 23 points (12 goals 11 assist) while holding a +/- of -18. Management finally stepped in and chose to sit Kubalik out of the lineup for one game for his recent lousy play.
Kubalik was back in the lineup against Vegas, and didn't hold back scoring to end his 9 game goalless drought.
