The recent Knights vs Sabres matchup brought us one of the biggest hits of the year, though it did result in a penatly.
As you can see, Golden Knights', Keegan Kolesar, delivered a massive hit to the Sabres', Ilya Lyubushkin. The hit resulted in Lyubushkin doing a full front flip, which I honestly don't even really know how that happened so close to the boards.
If you listen to the commentators, they aren't sure if they agree with the boarding call on the ice. The back of the jersey was definitely facing Kolesar, but Lyubushkin put himself in that position while knowing that Kolesar was in the position that he was.
With Lyubushkin flipping the way that he did, it makes sense why Kolesar got a penalty, but we are not quite sure if it was truly a penalty-worthy hit.
