Maple Leafs Make First Move: Sign Defenseman to STEAL Of a Contract
There has been lots of talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs and if they'll be making any moves this off season as yet again it was another first round disappointing exit..
Well the Toronto Maple Leafs have little to no cap hit due to the outrageous contracts from their big 4, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Mitch Marner and also Morgan Rielly.
The Leafs have made it clear there is physically no room to improve as a roster and have decided that their main focus will be on re signing there players that have expiring contracts and they sure have done so- making there first signing of the off season.
One name that has been mentioned in rumors regarding the Maple Leafs have been young defenseman Timothy Liljegren, he is still developing into a better defenseman day by day and the Maple Leafs have decided to sign him to a 2 year $1.4m dollar contract which is a absolute steal for todays shortening market on defenseman, what a win for Toronto today!
