Marc-Andre Fleury continues to show he's an incredible human being
Last night, the Chicago Blackhawks were in St. Louis to play the Blues. The two cities are often considered sports rivals, but that didn't stop the Hawks goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury, from doing the right thing to make a young sports fans' day.
During warm ups, Fleury spotted a young boy in the St. Louis crowd wearing his jersey. Fleury has a reputation for being one of the best human beings in the game and that continued last night. Fleury immediately alerted the team's trainer of the young boy and asked him to approach the child and see if he'd like an autograph.
The trainer returned to the bench with the jersey, Fleury made sure to sign it before returning it to the overjoyed fan.
When Fleury is likely traded out of Chicago it will bring to an end of a very short era, but the Blackhawks and their fans will all miss Fleury very much.
