Must See: First Overall Pick Scores First NHL Goal
The first overall pick of the 2022 NHL draft has finally scored his first goal. About halfway through the 2nd period against the Coyotes, Slafkovsky wired home a shot from the top of the circle to score his first career NHL goal.
The Canadian faithful went crazy as Slafkovsky's teammates celebrated with him along the boards. Slafkovsky took a big hit shortly before the goal and let the Coyotes hear it during his celebration. This is just the first of many for the young rookie.
