It's never easy being the new kid. Whether it's in school, in a club, at work, or anywhere, you're always going feel like you have something to prove, right off the bat. Of course, in Luke Richardson's case, he DOES have something to prove. Armed with former Head Coach Derek King by his side, vets like Kane and Toews, a plethora of prospects and rookies on the ice, and an abysmal record and reputation to overcome, our newest behind-the-bbench resident has his work cut out for him.
So, when someone goes out of their way to make a nice gesture, just something to say, «Hey - we're all in this together», it means a lot. And it's incredibly meaningful when it comes from one of the best American players of all time, Patrick Kane.
The man has a process and with support of his team, which he clearly has, this year is already starting to look up for Chicago. And no matter what happens in the future, Patrick Kane will always remain a class act. He loves the game, and he always does his best to unite his team, and the fans. That's why we love him.
