On Friday night, Penn State and Minnesota faced off. In the second half of the third period, a hit was delivered and resulted in something you don't see too often in hockey anymore - shattered glass.
Penn State's Chase McClane delivered a massive hit on Logan Cooley. Does the name Logan Cooley sound familiar? It probably does as he was selected third overall in the 2022 NHL entry draft. Normally you see Logan Cooley trending due to his scoring, but tonight it was because he was checked through the glass. Cooley was able to skate away fine, but a fan in the front row had shattered glass come flying her way. There is no update on the fan, but word is that she was receiving medical attention.
