The Chicago Blackhawks! The Blackhawks ranked as having the most loyal fan base in the NHL. The top five in order was Blackhawks, Penguins, Bruins, Rangers, and Red Wings. All five of those teams are very notable NHL franchises with three of the five being original six members. The Blackhawks have struggled since their early 2010s dynasty, but fans have remained loyal. Why is that?
Well, one key factor could be that the Blackhawks have some of the best uniforms in the NHL. Despite controversy on their logo, in almost every uniform poll you can find the Blackhawks in the top five, if not voted the best. Another factor could be that they're in Chicago. Chicago is a very unique and likable city. Deep dish pizza, bratwursts, the bean, what more could you ask for? The Hawks also have a very notable goal horn. The «Da-Da-Da» from Chelsea Dagger can get stuck in anybody's head, especially a Blackhawks fan's head. If you're not a fan of the Hawks, chances are it's the most annoying goal song in hockey. One final reason for the Hawks loyal fan base could be the players. Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, Bobby Hull, Stan Makita - shall I keep going? Point is, the Blackhawks have been around almost 100 years, and there's an endless list of notable players that have played in Chicago.
While the Blackhawks may struggle at times, the fan base remains loyal. That's always a plus for an NHL franchise that is trying to get their feet back under them after a dynasty. That means fans will continue to buy tickets and continue to watch and attend games. Hopefully Blackhawks fans can continue their loyalty!
