Must see - fan hits the most impossible shot to win a brand new car
Ahh, the gold ''giveaway'' scheme that used to be used at many hockey games is making a comeback, teams would host a raffle at a set amount of tickets sold at a certain price, and the winner would hop on the ice during intermission. If they were to make the impossible shot seen below, usually a large lump some of money or a car would be rewarded.
As mentioned ''impossible'', the shot has very low odds, and most target holes are cut out to where they will only fit the size of a hockey puck on certain angles, if you can even hit the net that is!
Well the New York Rangers hosted one of these raffles, and even made it 10x more difficult by having the lights in the arena turned off while the winner took the shot.
The prize was set for a brand new hyndai car, and the person won.. yes, they actually hit the center ice shot, in the dark, in front of a sold out Madison Square garden crowd.
This is truly insane. Some people are claiming it is rigged, but unless the puck is being contracted by a remote controller, it is as real as it gets.
