Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews have been non-committal in confirming their plans for the future, with respect to the Blackhawks.
It's believed, that like Kane, Toews wont make a decision on his future until the trade deadline, so he can have a better idea of what direction the team is going.
Recently, Mark Spector stated that he believes one specific Canadian team will be a good fit for Toews...
It is no other then, the Edmonton Oilers, where he states to be a good fit with their current team and position to compete for a cup.
Naturally, a player with the trophy case and accomplishments of Toews would he a fantastic addition alongside the likes of McDavid, Draisaitl and co.
Duncan Keith will also have a heavy influence on Toews if he decides to explore the open market, Keith is now in the Oilers management group after he announced his retirement this summer.
With the solid two-way play and total package, and the leadership qualities. It's hard to imagine the Oilers not being better without Toews.
A reunion with longtime teammate, now Oilers personnel Duncan Keith, likely or not? Share your thoughts in the comments.
