This Blackhawk Turned Down a Deal From The Maple Leafs to Play in Chicago

The thought of Max Domi playing in his Dad's old stomping grounds has been a narrative since Domi entered the league with the Coyotes.
According to Nick Kypreos, while fans see the fit, the player turned down a deal while he was a UFA this summer, looking for work.
The Leafs offered Domi a deal, but he opted to sign with the Blackhawks instead.
The money, is the main reason. But you have to wonder, is it the case of Domi wanting to pave his own path? Of course the Blackhawks were expected to be the worst team in the NHL this year, and Domi still chose to come on board, he truly trusted the process.
Domi seems to be fitting in quite nicely in Chicago, and has proved to be a nice addition to the Hawks brigade.
