The NHL continues to receive bad news this off-season with the news that LA Kings highly anticipated prospect has not recovered from a injury suffered nearly more than a year ago, Turcotte is only twenty-one years of age and has yet to start his NHL career in a full time role.
Turcotte was drafted fifth overall in 2019 just behind names such as Jack Hughes, Kirby Dach, and even drafted before a few popular names such as Moritz Seider, Trevor Zegras and Cole Caufield
#Kings forward Alex Turcotte did not travel to San Jose for the rookie tournament, and has not been cleared for action after suffering two concussions last season.
Los Angeles remains hopeful for his return, but are staying patient.
Turcotte was the fifth overall pick in 2019, but has struggled to stay healthy since elevating his game to the professional level.
