The NHL Community is Sad to Announce The Passing of Andrew Shaw

The hockey community is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Andrew Shaw.
News broke this weekend, the Columbus Blue Jackets reporter Aaron Portzline reported that scouting personal Andrew Shaw's life was sadly cut way too short. The OHL hockey league also confirmed the news.
Shaw was only fifty-three years of age and spent many years as a scout in the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets, he scouted and took part in the acquisitions of Marc Method, Josh Anderson, Dalton Prout and many other well know NHL players. He also spent 2 years with the Boston Bruins, and also a regional scout for the Edmonton Oilers.

''While he may not be a household name to fans of the sport, there's no question that Shaw left his mark on the sport of hockey. Shaw and his family also served as a billet family for several prominent players, with the most notable likely being Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos.''
