The Chicago Blackhawks were in Ottawa Friday night to Face the Senators from the Canadian Tire Center.
With the Blackhawks down 3-1, Blackhawks forward Sam Lafferty would score his 10 goal of the season and 4th shorthanded goal of the year.
Lafferty is becoming a big part of the Blackhawks especially with all the Blackhawks rumoured to be on the move, including forward Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks star had kind words to say about Lafferty calling him:
"A top five skater in the League."
Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson would also have some praise for Lafferty saying:
"He's finally realizing what he is. He's a big man that can move fast. Faster than I've seen a big guy like that move."
It's good to see Lafferty's hard work finally start to pay off, the 27 year old is finally making a name for himself in Chicago.
