Patrick Kane is a superstar in the NHL, Kane is arguably one if not THEE best American born NHL player of all-time without a doubt. But he is also not afraid to stand up for his teammates, as seen in this clip.
Unfortunately the referees are well aware of Kane's value in the NHL, and did not let it go on for long at all. Refs tend to step in when Superstars get involved, as a superstars serious injury could affect a NHL franchises value and TV statistics, it would have been cool to see what fire Kaner really has in the tank, but without a doubt he shows his heart when needed.
