With three weeks to go before NHL training camp hockey fans have been glued to the internet to see what the Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson does with his two top stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.
Davidson did manage to move some very important players such as Alex DeBrincat and Kirby Dach, at the NHL Draft back in July so people assumed Kane and Toews would be next.
However, as of Saturday September 3rd both Kane and Toews remain members of the Blackhawks but for how long is the real question, Davidson offered an update on what might be going through the heads of his veteran players, reporting some key info to Blackhawks reporter Ben Pope.
«neither Patrick Kane nor Jonathan Toews have approached the Blackhawks with trade requests. Davidson also added that «all parties are «excited to get to training camp and see how the season plays out.»
- Kyle Davidson
The Blackhawks are projected to be a bottom five team this season so you have to expect that both Kane and Toews will be traded 100% anytime from now up until trade deadline day.
