Patrick Kane provided a list of teams he could be traded to
It seems as if Patrick Kane's days in Da Windy City are coming to an end, with just five games remaining for the Chicago Blackhawks before the NHL's trade deadline on March 3rd, Kane stated he is cherishing each and every game.. not good if you're a Blackhawks fan.
Kane said, "You'll probably cherish these five games a little more before the deadline just not knowing what's going to happen.... It's always exciting playing at home, always love playing at the United Center in front of the crowd here."
As we have known for about one year now it lies in Kane's hands as to if, and where he would want to be traded to. Mark Lazerus, the lead Chicago Blackhawks writer for the Athletic has spoken out on information on Patrick Kane's talks with his agent Pat Brisson, who are reportedly now looking into contending teams as a fit for #88.
The Dallas Stars and New York Rangers appear to be the front runners for Patrick Kane, the Rangers have been linked to Kane for years now since Artemi Panarin arrived in New York City. Kane had a loving relationship with former teammate Artemi Panarin, and was traded away by the Blackhawks due to the management not being able to afford "the bread man".
Kane is currently being paid $10.5m but that contract will be over after this years NHL playoffs, the Blackhawks will certainly have to retain at least 50% in cap space to meet Kane's needs of heading to a contender, hoping for another Stanley Cup.
