Player Gets Knocked Out and Unconscious after receiving a dirty bulldozing hit
Lukas Rousek of the Rochester Americans had the chance to seal the deal with an empty netter against the Syracuse Crunch.
It was a hustle play and Rousek knew he had little time to get down the ice and put the puck in the net before the defender got to him.
Rousek netted the goal, but at quite the price. Darren Raddysh gave Rousek quite the hit on the goal, resulting in Rousek being knocked out.
The hit was questionable as Raddysh can be scene extending his arms for added power, but it's also a question of if he glided enough or not to negate a charging call.
This seems to be excessive force to me, what do you think?
