Team Canada improves to 2-0 on at the World Juniors after a dominating performance over Team Slovakia beating them-11-1 Tonight.
Connor Bedard would open the scoring yet again off a sweet give and go with Team Canada's captain Mason McTavish.
Will Cuylle would give Canada a 2-0 lead at 12:53 on the 1st period.
With 4 minutes to play Brennan Othmann would give Canada a commanding 3-0 lead.
Canada would go up 4-0 scoring in the final minute on a goal by Olen Zellweger.
The dominance would continue in the 2nd period just 1:02 into the period Logan Stankoven would make it 5-0 Canada.
6:40 into the 2nd period Mason McTavish gives Canada a 6-0 lead on a 4 on 0 goal.
After Slovakia would get one back Mason McTavish would score again to to make it 7-1 Canada.
Mason McTavish would get the hat trick as Canada would go up 8-1.
Mason McTavish would tie a Team Canada record scoring his 4th goal of the game.
With 5 minutes to play Joshua Roy gave them double digits 10-1 Canada
Canada would score again in the final minute on a goal by Zack Ostapchuk giving Canada a 11-1 lead.
Canada was much improved over last game vs Latvia if they can build off this momentum they have a very good chance at winning the Gold medal.
