The Blackhawks Don't Give a F*ck About Tanking - 'We're Paid to Win Games and Want to Win''
The Chicago Blackhawk's are currently fourth overall in the NHL's central division, all ahead of the Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and the St.Louis Blues. The Blackhawks overtopping all of those teams, or any team in general came as a surprise as the Blackhawks seemed to be in full tank mode which comes with many years of struggles.
The Blackhawks signed three players this past off-season, Max Domi, Andreas Anthanasiou and Stanley Cup winning defensemen Jack Johnson. Johnson was apart of the Avalanches winning year, and gelled in perfectly well with the roster, and served his time as a mentor, which lead to a Stanley Cup.
Johnson is all about winning, and continues to preach winning coming into Chicago, Jack had this to say about current state of the Blackhawks:
'Yeah a good draft pick is cool but we're paid to win and want to win'' - Jack Johnson
Watch Jacks full interview below, where Mario Tirabassi perfectly summed up in a sentence of «these guys don't give a f*ck about Connor Bedard or drafting high''.
