The Chicago Blackhawks Request a Change to The NHL Over Concerning Reason
The Chicago Blackhawks have requested a change to their schedule for next season, asking the NHL to schedule more Saturday home games. The team only hosted three Saturday games this past season, leaving the United Center empty for eight other Saturdays.
The Blackhawks' request is not only for the benefit of the team but also for their fans who prefer to attend games on the weekends. More Saturday home games would provide an opportunity for families and out-of-town visitors to attend games without worrying about work or school schedules.
The Blackhawks hope that the NHL will consider their request and make the necessary adjustments to their schedule for the upcoming season.
