The Arizona Coyotes have been a hot topic this off season, but not for the right things. They were practically evicted out of their arena, and news got brought up that they owed the arena a very large lump some of money for maintenance bills, and electricity.
Meaning it was time for the Coyotes to find a new home, which is a University arena at ASU, now named 'the mullet arena'' which holds a max of 5,000 people.
The worst has officially gotten worse for the Coyotes, as a new 'worst case scenario'' has been revealed by deputy commissioner Bil Daly.
Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly says that the "worst case" for the #Covotes would be playing at Arizona State University until 2025, while the best would be playing there until 2024.
He also referenced the positive impact playing in an arena of that size could have on the players, expecting it to be filled nightly, thus enhancing the atmosphere, as well as the relative success of this strategy with the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers and their brief stint in an MLS stadium while their current stadium was being built.
