Marc-Andre Fleury was drafted in the first round, first overall draft pick of 2003 by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Fleury went on to spend a whopping 13 seasons from 2003-2017 with the Penguins, winning a Stanley Cup championship.

Marc-Andre Fleury is a 5 time Allstar and won his first ever Vezina Trophy in the 2021 season during his final stint with Vegas. During the 2021 offseason, «Flower» was traded to the Blackhawks and became the first defending Vezina Trophy winner to be traded since Dominik Hasek.
The Caps and Pens have one if not one of the biggest rivalries in the NHL today, but over the years it has cooled down a tad. If the playoffs started today, Pittsburgh would end up facing the Capitals at some point if both teams move on, and Fleury would face his former team..
