United Center resonates with a different chant last night
To say that this season has been rough for the Blackhawks is probably the understatement of the year. After being a perennial Stanley Cup contender, the team has been reduced to a laughingstock throughout the NHL.
During tonight's game against the Boston Bruins, however, within 90 seconds of the game beginning Blackhawks fans heard a noticeable let's go Bruins chant throughout their building.
I'm sure this put Hawks fans on edge as these two original six teams duked it out.
With eight of their eleven draft picks this year within the first three rounds and a draft that's fairly deep with excellent talent and some generational talent, the Hawks are definitely in a good position to make some drastic changes to their lineup.
\This also includes $41.2 million in cap space going into next season.
The Hawks ended up upsetting the Boston Bruins 6-3 and will be on the road against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, March 16th. Game time will be at 8:00 PM
