Vancouver Canucks have made a massive, and crucial extension with a star player?

The Vancouver Canucks announced on Friday evening, that the club had comes to terms on an extension with one of their star players.
JT Miller and Canucks GM Jim Benning finally put ink-to-paper signing a massive seven-year extension worth eight-million dollars annually, the lump sum is $56-million over the duration if Miller's deal.
The Canucks forward was drafted 15 overall in the 2011 NHL Draft by the New York Rangers.
A native of East Palestine, Ohio., the 28-year-old has his best offensive season in 2021-22 with the Canucks. Miller played 80 games, notching 32 goals, 67 assists for 99 points. Miller posted career-highs in goals, assists, points and played the second most games (80) over a season in his career. He played 82 games, in back-to-back seasons during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with the New York Rangers.
