WATCH: Brutal Missed Call Leads to a Goal to Force Overtime Washington Capitals vs Florida Panthers
Who thought the NHL 2021-22 playoff officiating could get any worse? I don't think many could, with plenty of missed calls left and right OR way too many calls for no apparent reason. Each game seems to be set at a different pace for the referees as rules seem to change in their liking.
Monday the Capitals face off at home against the Florida Panthers, and this went uncalled:
That elbow/interference was missed, and there was a referee right there. It lead to a Washington Capitals goal, if they did not score this the Florida Panthers would have won in regulation - but this goal lead to overtime.
