Where Will Patrick Kane play in 2023-2024?
It's disappointing to hear that Showtime on Broadway didn't work out for Patrick Kane and the New York Rangers. They were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the New Jersey Devils with a score of 4-0 in game 7.
The big question now is, what's next for Kane? While it's enjoyable to speculate, it's probable that he will want to join a team with a chance to contend.
NHL insiders Charlie Roumeliotis and James Neveau suggest that Patrick Kane's future team may depend on whether or not New York chooses to retain him.
There is speculation that the Buffalo Sabres may be a good match for the player, as they have ample cap space and can offer favorable contract terms. Additionally, there is potential for the team to be in contention in the future.
While the financial details would need to be worked out, the Sabres' GM Kevyn Adams has a reputation for finding creative solutions. It is likely that the player will take some time to consider his options and prioritize finding a good fit for both himself and his family. A decision may not be made until closer to July.
