Bad News Regarding Calvin de Haan.
"The Chicago Blackhawks lost a big time game to the Vegas Golden Knights last night by a score of 5-1. It was a tough loss for the Hawks as before the game they were just five points behind Vegas for the second Wild Card spot, now they sit seven points behind Vegas.What makes things even worse is that it looks like they've probably lost one of their defenseman for an extended period of time. Calvin de Haan took a big hit from Golden Knights' froward Mark Stone and hit the boards and fell awkwardly. The Hawks' defenseman didn't return to the game and it sounds like he won't be returning for awhile. Head coach Jeremy Colliton told reporters that de Haan is on his way back to Chicago to under go further testing and it doesn't look good. Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago points out that it's the same shoulder he just had surgery on.
