"It seems the Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman have decided to move on from one of their key players. Blackhawks' insider Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports that Bowman doesn't expect Crawford to sign with Chicago in the coming days. NHL insider Pierre LeBrun adds that Bowman has only been willing to sign Crawford at a really bargain price something that Crawford isn't interested in. Scott Powers of The Athletic had previously reported that the Hawks had offered a one year deal worth $3.5million, a clear pay cut on his $6million from his previous contract. LeBrun adds that there's still a chance Crawford circles back to the Hawks if he doesn't like what's out there in free agency but it's not likely he'll be back. Are you disappointed the two sides can't come to a deal?
