The Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild are two teams looking to freshen things up for the 2020-21 season and that's why they might be perfect trade partners. Wild GM Bill Guerin is looking to totally revamp his team and has already moved out Eric Staal and told Mikko Koivu he won't be re-signed. We know the team will be trying to trade Zach Parise all offseason and after re-signing Jonas Brodin, it seems the team is also looking to move Matt Dumba. A key part of their defense, the team wants to shed his $6million per year cap hit as they still carry Ryan Suter's $7.53million cap hit through the 2024-25 season. According to Wild insider Michael Russo, the Blackhawks are one of the teams showing interest in Dumba. Adding Dumba would likely give Duncan Keith a bit of a break as he eats up minutes but the right side is still pretty packed with Connor Murphy and Adam Boqvist there as well. Obviously Boqvist is not going anywhere and Keith holds a full no movement clause, however Murphy only has two years left on his deal and has no trade protection. Would you like to see Dumba on the right side of the Hawks' blueline instead of Murphy?
