"When general manager Stan Bowman signed goalie Robin Lehner to a one year deal during the offseason, it raised an eyebrow or two. Crawford is still under contract and has a full no movement clause and isn't going anywhere. Many predicted an upcoming goalie controversy however it's been the exact opposite with the goalies sharing starts and both haven been excellent lately. Both goalies are saving big goals from going up on the scoreboard and Crawford had nothing bad to say about the tandem right now. «Obviously I want to try to get as much ice time as I can but when you have another goalie that's playing so well, why not just go back and forth. It's working right now, so can't complain.» "Not every team has that where they can, in the back-to-back, go to a Vezina candidate or a Stanley Cup winner."The duo have been exceptional over their last five games. Crawford is 3-0-2 with a .937 save percentage.
Lehner is 3-2 with a .936 save percentage..
