The Chicago Blackhawks are still holding onto some playoff hope as they sit eight points out of the second Wild Card spot which is currently held by the Anaheim Ducks. If the Hawks can't catch a huge win streak and get into playoff contention, the Hawks and general manager Stan Bowman will likely become sellers at the trade deadline. Since the start of the season we've heard a couple of trade rumours regarding long time defenseman Duncan Keith. Now Scott Powers of The Athletic is the latest to wonder if it's possible that Bowman asks Keith about a trade and his no movement clause.Keith has a full no movement clause and four years left on a contract that pays him $5.5million, the 35 year old is trending downwards in his career so only a move to a contender would make sense. There's even been some small suggestions regarding the Montreal Canadiens where Keith would find former teammate Andrew Shaw along with his Team Canada defensive partner Shea Weber and Carey Price. Bowman and Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin haven't been shy to make deals in the past and it would be an interesting scenario as they need a veteran left side defenseman badly and some power play help. It'll be an interesting story to follow over the next couple of months.
