He has had plenty of off-season experience, playing in the World Junior Champions recently, playing 14 games, and posting 12 points(5 G, 7 A) at his first go in the U18 and U20 competitions.
There's been discussions about his future as he is currently unsigned by the team who has drafted him.
However, after attaining gold in the WJC last season, it appears he will get another crack at the gold during the 2024-2025 season as he will not go pro just yet.
There's been no "official" word, but I think all of the expectations are that Moore is playing another year in college. It's best for him. Also, he's eligible for the World Juniors again, so that would be good for him too. Mario Tirabassi (@Mario_Tirabassi) April 2, 2024
It's been discussed and much like prior Blackhawks prospect, Landon Slaggert, he needs all the experience in the competitive atmosphere in a setting like the World Juniors again before he arrives in Chicago.
in 39 games with the Minnesota Golden Gophers of the NCAA, he has 33 points(9 G, 24 A) and will look to return next another season to continue his development.
