The Chicago Blackhawks prospect Nick Lardis has been on a tear this season and has now scored 60 points.

The Chicago Blackhawks took prospect Nick Lardis 67th overall during the 2023 NHL Draft.
if you were sad about the Blackhawks' future don't be, as Nick Lardis is here to amaze you.
This season he's scored a total of 99 points (60 G, 39 A) in the OHL with the Brantford Bulldogs, with only 54 games played so far.
While he's been on a tear for the team, he's maintained an 18-game points streak for the Bulldogs when he scored a hat-trick.
He'd score his 58th goal of the season in the first period, and his 59th and 60th in the second period of last night's game.
With this kind of scoring ability, you have to wonder what place in the lineup he'll find in the NHL.
While it's doubtful he'll find the same kind of placement in the NHL as Bedard has, it remains to be seen whether he'll find a spot in the bottom-six or top-nine.
Elite Prospects:
«No matter where the puck arrives, Lardis finds ways to slam it into the net. He can do so while sliding backward, rushing ahead, with his feet pointed away from the target, and with instant catch-and-release motions. The winger understands how to set up his shots, where to move, how to move, and at what speed to get his stick on a pass and fire it in. He anticipates the flow of the play, keeps the puck in control of his team with short passes, and then pops open.»

Junior statistics don't bode well for the NHL typically no matter the kind of hype surrounding players like Lardis.
Even though there are exceptions like Bedard, McDavid, and Crosby and not every 100-point CHL player is a generational talent.
But Lardis could find a spot in the regular lineup, as he works his way up the depth charts.
