We've just seen a new side of Connor Bedard's game
The IIHF Tournament is in full swing, as Team Canada competed today against Great Britain. Connor Bedard and company were successful in Prague, as his
skills were on display.
During the bout, Team Canada was putting pressure on Great Britain in their defensive zone.
Bedard started off a play making a pass to Olen Zellweger, back to Bedard, and then to Zellweger on the point, which led to a scoring chance which Bedard capitalized upon.
He used his speed to take advantage of that rebound that Britain's goalie Jackson Whistle just left in front of the net after hitting his helmet, and scored his 1st goal.
Bedard's ability to be swift from the slot paid dividends.
Bedard scored that goal 11:39 minutes into the 2nd period and it was one of two goals the superstar scored today, as Team Canada made short work of the British.
Bedard led all players in shots on goal with 4, and had 15:32 time on ice against Great Britain.
