Philadelphia Flyers' Michkov and John Tortorella's relationship is in scrutiny following footage of an altercation during Thursday nights 3-0 loss to the New York Islanders
We were all aware of Matvei Michkov's gutsy moves, like the Michigan, that came with his high level skillset when arriving to Philadelphia.
But we also predicted a strained relationship between him and Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella, who's made it clear he despises 'The Michigan' due to his old school hard headed ways.
The Flyers' season hasn't gone as expected, sitting at fifth in the metropolitan division and with teams around them only getting better (such as the Hurricanes acquiring Taylor Hall, Mikko Rantanen) they begin to fall back in the standings as the days go on.
Suffering a 3-0 loss to the Islanders on Thursday, that wasn't the main issue of the game, it was an altercation between Torts and Michkov which has caught everyone's attention.
