Exciting news for Blackhawks fans as all six of the team's prospects lit up the World Junior Championship knockout stage. In a big win against Latvia, the four U.S. prospects made a mark.
Oliver Moore, starting on the top line, notched an assist and scored a goal. Teammates Frank Nazar and Sam Rinzel also showed their skills. Gavin Hayes, after a rough game before, played a smaller role but made the most of his time.

Slovakia faced heartbreak, losing in overtime, with Martin Misiak getting three assists. Goalie Adam Gajan, despite an early exit, had a strong showing with a .916 save percentage.
