Interim Coach Anders Sorensen has had enough of Connor Bedard's lack of finishing capacity, as today he demoted the center.

The Chicago Blackhawks count on Connor Bedard to deliver an elite performance every night.
However, during the team's matinee game against the Florida Panthers, he failed to perform as we've seen him do before.
During the second period, Interim Coach Anders Sorensen decided to wake up Bedard by demoting him, hoping he would find his game against the former Stanley Cup champions.
He was seen on a line with Landon Slaggert and Ryan Donato, who are typically 3rd liners for the Blackhawks.
Now, he'll have to dig himself out of the hole he's in.
This move happened after he was criticized by Seth Jones this week for failing to shoot a puck on Hurricanes goalie Frederik Andersen, despite being net-front after cutting through the defense.
He failed to shoot and would instead pass the puck to Landon Slaggert, watching the play fall apart in front of our eyes.
A lack of confidence is plaguing Bedard tonight.
Today Bedard has a -1 rating on the ice, with two shots on goal, with one takeaway. He's played 14 shifts in two periods. Today he's logged 15:19 of ice time, with three faceoff wins.
Yet, the Blackhawks haven't seen him produce offense as he should have tonight against the Panthers.
The Blackhawks typically play well against this team, but today they may not declaw the cats.
The Blackhawks are behind by three goals, 4-1.
