NHL Legend Patrice Bergeron Set to Make Return With The Chicago Blackhawks: Nick Foligno Hints at The Major Possibility
Chicago Blackhawks forward Nick Foligno hinted at the potential recruitment of free agents, including Patrice Bergeron.
Foligno mentioned the hypothetical situation, when asked if he could recruit anyone to sign with the Blackhawks:
"That's an important part of it, and it happens, right? I know Patrice Bergeron doesn't call me, I don't go to Boston. At the end of the day, though, what really speaks is our play on the ice."
While the remark is likely more of a playful banter than a serious recruitment strategy, it reflects the important of Foligno's veteran experience to recruit veterans.
Bergeron, a long-time Boston Bruin, would slot into the lineup in a very big veteran role, much like Jonathan Toews played.
