The Chicago Blackhawks are off tonight, and while the team is resting the scouting department is busy at the Philadelphia Flyersand Detroit Red Wings game.
The Chicago Blackhawks have veteran talent they could offload at the trade deadline, and a few names have dropped including
Taylor Hall and
Alec Martinez.
While it was reported earlier today that
Philipp Kurashev, a former Blackhawks 4th round pick could hit the block soon as well.
With those revelations hitting the wire, could the Blackhawks be scouting talent in Detroit and Philadelphia tonight?
The Flyers themselves aren't doing so hot this season, and are 6th in the Metropolitan Division.
While the Red Wings, an original-six rival aren't doing so hot either even with Todd McLellan at the helm, 7th in the Atlantic.
So who could the Blackhawks be scouting tonight?
The Blackhawks could also be prepping to bring showtime home, while scouting out other pieces that they'd acquire in a trade for the former Blackhawks Stanley Cup Champion.
There may be some interest in Johansson for the right team. However, I don't see a big return for him at this time. He has had an up-and-down year, so I don't see him moving this season.
While the Blackhawks themselves need a solid 2C, they could target
Morgan Frost who was speculated to be a candidate for the Hawks earlier this season. But nothing manifested. Could it be this time around?
