Blackhawks preparing Bedard for trade deadline with new line-mates in game vs Senators Wednesday

The Chicago Blackhawks will be taking on the Ottawa Senators tonight, who have recently lost their wild-card spot in the East.

Tonight the Blackhawks can put the hurting on them some more, as they debut a top-line tonight that features Connor Bedard who is flanked by Frank Nazar, and Ryan Donato.

The Ottawa Senators come into the United Center tonight, with a record of 30-25-5 and 5th in the Atlantic just below the Red Wings.

For many Blackhawks fans, this is a top-line many have dreamed of as it could be considered the youth movement peaking in Chicago.

Nazar is one of the Blackhawks' most promising prospects in Chicago, and now he'll get a shot to be on the flank of Bedard.

The two teams are battling it out in the 1st period, and have reached a tie.

This is a risky bet for Interim Coach Anders Sorensen, but it should be worth it if the trio can produce.

But more or less it seems like they're preparing Connor Bedard and fans for the rude awakening of a Ryan Donato trade. His trade value is at the highest of his career and could fetch a 3rd-round pick or higher depending on how the deal goes down.

Donato has produced 45 points (22 G, 23 A) in 59 games for a terrible Chicago Blackhawks team this season.
