Good news for the Blackhawks as the trade deadline approaches this Friday, Nick Foligno was back at practice on Thursday and looks set to play in the upcoming game against Utah at the United Center, but a forward now departs from the organization.

The Blackhawks have also made an interesting move by sending forward Andreas Athanasiou back to the IceHogs, their AHL team, just under 24 hours since playing his third game since being recalled by the Blackhawks.
Athanasiou played less than seven minutes in Wednesday's game and only had one short seven-second shift in the last 28 minutes.

Blackhawks send-down indicates a trade incoming

The interesting thing about the send down is that the Blackhawks now only have 12 healthy forwards on their roster.
With forwards Jason Dickinson and Philipp Kurashev both at practice, but battling injuries and will not be ready to return for Friday's game, the Blackhawks have an incomplete lineup at the moment.

Lots of speculation has arised from this roster move by the Blackhawks, many are left wondering if they have made a decision to keep forward Ryan Donato or not.
In my opinion, if the Blackhawks receive an offer they can't refuse they must cash in and take it, if it's a mid-range offer than they should keep their leading goalscorer.
Buckle up Blackhawks fans, this trade deadline will be a busy one!
