An Unexpected scene involving Connor Bedard's mother at the United Center

The Chicago Blackhawks could not defeat the Edmonton Oilers, 4-3 last night. But the Bedard and McDavid families were busy building a relationship.
During Connor Bedard's loss to the Edmonton Oilers, Tom and Kelly Bedard sat outside of the booth for the majority of the game.
It is heartening to see camaraderie at the family level, where the hockey community begins and ends.
The McDavid's would be seen in the booth in the United Center for the majority of the night, as their son would claim a win against the tumultuous Blackhawks.
Bedard was held pointless, with a -2, 2 shots missed on the goal 21 shifts, and 21:04 (TOI).
Bedard's nine-game point streak (4G - 8A) ended Saturday night. His next point will be the 100th of his career.
While McDavid would ironically suffer the same fate last night, being held scoreless by the Blackhawks.
It was a sound defensive effort against one of the top players in the NHL, as he had a stat line of -2, 3 shots missed, 2 hits, 22 shifts, and 21:50 TOI with 7 of 11 face-off wins.
Family Friendly Entertainment
The Blackhawks would take the lead early and be unable to hold the 2-0 goal differential against McDavid and the Oilers.
After Vasily Podkolzin's goal, Adam Henrique, Corey Perry, and Zach Hyman would follow to end the hopes of a comeback for the Blackhawks.
Teuvo Teravainen, Nick Foligno, and Ryan Donato were the Blackhawks' goal scorers and put up a valiant effort against the former Stanley Cup contenders.
