Veteran forward slams Chicago Blackhawks' efforts, claiming their sloppy plays continue after their defeat against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

On Saturday February 22nd, the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Nationwide Arena.
The Blackhawks took a brutal loss. With no sense of preparation or dedication over the duration of their break, their mistakes piled causing them to finish the last period with a whopping 5-1 loss.
This has left their last 10 game standings to be at 2-4-4, with a streak of 2 losses.
Their overall performance left not only fans more disappointed, but also the Chicago Blackhawks very own veteran, Craig Smith.
Craig stated:
"It's frustrating, it's unacceptable, it's embarrassing... We have to dig deep, personally, before every game."

Chicago Blackhawks reporter, Ben Pope, posted on his social media account regarding Smith's frustrations.
Take a look:
«Craig Smith thought the Blackhawks' sloppiness in practice yesterday might've carried over to their loss today.»
Craig Smith knows better than most that hockey is not a three-hour commitment on game day, it is a 48-hour process that starts with preparation long before puck drop.
Smith believes that their latest effort showed how costly their poor preparation translated on the ice.
«You have to dig deep personally before every game. That preparation starts the day before with how we practice, what we're saying, how we eat, how we wake up. You can't just flip a switch when you get to the rink.»

Interim coach, Anders Sorensen, echoed Smith's frustration.
«It's a tough league,»
he stated.
«You've got to be ready. You need to know your assignments and handle the little details. We didn't do that in the first period, and it showed.»

Despite the team's repetitive cycle, we can hope that Anders Sorensen keeps the team accountable and that is displays in their overall performance.
