Ottawa Senators Provide Update on Brady Tkachuk's Delayed Return From 4 Nations Face-Off

Brady Tkachuk and Brother Matthew both suited up for Team USA for a best-on-best tournament that interrupted the season in mid-February.

According to a report from NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, the Senators will miss his presence on the ice tonight against the Canadiens due to an injury.

We don't have an idea of where it occurred, but considering the fact he was healthy recently competing against Canada, this is troubling news for the squad.

Tkachuk's known for his heavy game, which includes a physical forecheck and driving the puck home with a scoring touch.

Something the Senators have benefitted from as he's scored 44 points (21 G, 23 A) in 56 games this season.

There may be some silver lining to the report, as Tkachuk is considered day-to-day according to Elliotte Friedman's reports.

This is going to disappoint Canadiens fans, and Senators fans everywhere. As earlier in the week sparks had begun to erupt between both Captain Tkachuk and defenseman Arber Xhekaj and we would have been able to see the conclusion of the verbal feud.
